About Tiffany –
🎖️💼 I started my career in the U.S. Army and later became a commissioned officer in the Army National Guard and a performance auditor for a federal agency.
💭As lofty as this may sound, I was ready to close the Military – Government chapter of my life and build a new career that involved traveling, writing online, and independent filmmaking.
In 2016, I started freelancing as a ghostwriter and video producer (and Lyft driver 😎). I didn’t have much success but I enjoyed living my life on my terms outside an institution.
🤑I had a breakthrough in 2020 when I took a pivot and learned about internet marketing. I learned how to use advertising and email marketing to sell information products for a commission. I still have this side hustle.💚
✈️ In 2022, I finally got to experience living abroad. For six months I split my time between Playa del Carmen and Mexico City. I spent most of my time resting. I didn’t realize how tired I was until I left the U.S.
🖊️🎬 I started this blog in 2024 to document my journey writing online, building a business, and eventually experimenting with independent filmmaking.
I hope I can make it a little easier for the next person. 😊💜
What I’m Working On Now:
🌎 Slow Travel: I’m planning to live in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for six months this year. This will be my third time living in PDC for at least three months.
✏️ Writing: I’ve started a daily writing practice. Every week I’ll publish content on this blog, my newsletters, and Medium.
👟 Walking: I’m walking at least 10,000 steps a day. I hope to develop an early morning exercise habit so there will be less friction when I transition to running this summer.
💻 Creating: I’m creating videos on YouTube, sharing everything I know about writing online, living abroad and building an online business.
👩🏽🏫Teaching: I’m creating an online cohort for anyone that wants to start a daily writing practice, get more views, and make more money writing.
